This Month’s Topic – What’s Your Path to the C-Suite? A Tutorial for Component Relations Professionals

Have you ever wondered how you can rise from a Component Relations Professional (CRP) to the C-Level Suite in an organization? On a daily basis CRPs – the general practitioners of associations – deal with many of the same issues the “C-Suiters” do including membership, finance, governance, volunteers, both nice and not so nice, and communications. Have you ever wondered how you can translate your CRP skillset to one of those C-Level positions?

The Component Relations Section Council kicks off its year-long series of virtual roundtables on Wednesday September 16, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. ET. The first roundtable is targeted at CRPs who want to rise to a C-Level Suite position. Our speaker will be Jathan Janove. Jathan’s presentation will highlight some of the ways a CRP can take their current knowledge, expand them or learn new skills to increase their ability to be considered for these positions. The presentation is intended to be highly interactive and you are encouraged to come prepared with your questions for Mr. Janove.
